2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T released for pre-sale
Porsche has recently released official images of the new 911 Carrera T hardtop and convertible models.
The new Carrera T, as a series of Porsche pursuing dynamic performance, adopts several weight reduction measures and dynamic tuning to provide more pure driving pleasure. In terms of exterior design, the new car maintains the design of the current model, but the front surround adopts the aerodynamically optimized front spoiler lip of the GTS model, and the interior of the headlamp clusters has been replaced with a bar-shaped dot-matrix light source for greater recognition. In addition, the new car is also equipped with lightweight windows, reducing the sound insulation material, the lightest weight of the entire car is only 1544kg, compared with the current 911 Carrera reduced by 5kg.
Powering the new Carrera T is an optimized 3.0T twin-turbocharged horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine with 290 kW (394 hp) and 450 N·m of torque. The drivetrain comes standard with an 8-speed PDK gearbox and rear-wheel drive, and accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 294km/h. In terms of the chassis, the new car is equipped with the Active Suspension Management (PASM) system and Variable Damping.
The car won't operate much differently from Porsche's previous manual 911 T, using the first six gears of the old seven-speed transmission. It's worth noting that this car is also available in a non-manual version.
As for tires, the new car is fitted with 20/21-inch Carrera S alloy wheels and the braking system has been upgraded. In terms of body colors, a variety of configurations are available for owners to choose from, including Shadow Green Metallic, Matte Gray, Slate Gray Neo and other “Legendary” colors, as well as “Dream” colors such as Guardian Red and Lugano Blue.
Inside, the 911 Carrera T Coupe has two seats, but the rear passenger seat is optional. The convertible has only four seats. Featuring a black interior with custom contrast stitching, it comes standard with features such as the Sport Chrono package, a leather GT Sport steering wheel, and Sport-Tex fabric in the seat centers.
