Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in-depth review: the perfect blend of performance beast and smart flagship
As the flagship model of Xiaomi Automobile's entry into the high-end market, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra redefines the value standard of electric supercars by virtue of extreme performance and cutting-edge technology.
This pure electric beast based on SEA Vast Architecture is equipped with dual V8s + V6s three-motor all-wheel drive system, with a combined power of 1548 hp and peak torque of 1770N-m. Zero hundred acceleration takes only 1.98 seconds, and the top speed breaks through 350km/h. It not only refreshes the ceiling of production car performance, but also tops the Shanghai International Circuit with a lap time of 2 minutes 09 seconds 944, showing the track-level driving strength. The SU7 Ultra is equipped with an 897V powertrain.
SU7 Ultra adopts 897V high-voltage platform and Ningde Times Kirin II battery, with a CLTC range of 630km, and supports 480kW ultra-fast charging technology, which can replenish energy to 80% in 11 minutes.
Equipped with carbon-ceramic brake discs, Akebono six-piston calipers and Pirelli P ZERO 5 tires, the braking distance is as short as 30.8 meters, and the elk test score reaches 82km/h. The aerodynamic package provides 285kg of downforce, and together with the adjustable air suspension and the CDC Continuous Damping Control, the car realizes dual adaptability to both the track and the street.
The first “Driver's Career” function in the car provides drivers with an immersive racing experience through the car's real-time track data and AR-HUD augmented reality head-up display.
The interior is dominated by Alcantara tumbled leather and carbon fiber veneer, with yellow and black clashing sports seats, equipped with a 16.1-inch 2K center control screen and Qualcomm 8295 chip, running the Xiaomi HyperOS system, which supports 0.23-second high-speed voice interaction and multi-tone zone control.
