Introduction
Lynk CO 08 EMP electric auto 2024 midsize SUV
The body dimensions of the Lynk CO 08 EMP are 4820mm long, 1915mm wide and 1685mm high, with a wheelbase of 2848mm. such body dimensions make the Lynk CO 08 EMP perform well in terms of space utilisation. After the adjustment of the main driver's seat, the remaining headroom is about one fist and two fingers; the legroom of the rear seat has a distance of about two fists. The luggage compartment volume can reach 545L in regular condition, and the capacity can be expanded to 1,277L after the rear seats are put down, which meets the needs of daily household use.
Power Performance
The Lynk CO 08 EMP is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain comprising a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a front-mounted single electric motor (three-motor four-wheel drive system in some models). The engine has a maximum power of 120kW, a maximum torque of 255N-m and a thermal efficiency of 44.26%. The motor has a maximum power of 160kW and a peak torque of 350N-m (the rear axle motor of the 4WD performance version has a maximum power of 156kW). This combination of power enables the 08 EMP to maintain an abundant power output during acceleration, making it easy to start or overtake. Measured 100km acceleration time varies depending on the model configuration, but all perform well.
Battery and Range
Lynk CO 08 EMP also shows leading technical strength in battery and range. Depending on the configuration of the model, it is equipped with lithium-ion battery packs of different capacities. For example, the 120km range version is equipped with a 21.2kWh Ningde Times lithium battery pack; while the long range version is equipped with a 39.8kWh Beehive Energy ternary lithium battery pack. Under CLTC conditions, the long range version can achieve a pure electric range of 245km, which is comparable or even better than some extended range vehicles. Coupled with the efficient operation of the 1.5T plug-in hybrid system and the intelligent energy management system, the Lynk CO 08 EMP outperforms competitors in its class in terms of energy consumption under full-speed range conditions.
